No one can start the process of losing weight and changing their life if they do not have a Prime Motivator. You first need to find what will keep driving you to success. It needs to be a short, simple phrase that you can repeat to yourself often.

2. Know your Weaknesses

When we understand and know our weaknesses, we will be better equipped to succeed. There are 5 universal triggers that everyone faces when making food choices.

3. Receive Continuous Support

One of the hardest things about doing ANYTHING challenging is doing it alone. We do not let that happen. Our program is fundamentally based on supporting you whenever you need it, whether that is in person, in a community discussion, or via text. We will support you.

Why am I Eating? Institute for Weight Management

My name is Dr. Josh Stehmeier, and I’ve spent the last 18 years immersed in healthcare science and clinical practice. With over 10,000 patient interactions, I’ve had countless conversations about health, mindset, habit change, and nutrition.

I’ve seen what works — and what doesn’t.

Time and time again, lasting success came down to three things: the drive to change, the right education, and consistent support.

But not everyone had access to those tools.

Too many people were misled by inconsistent programs, overwhelmed by broken medical systems, and confused by conflicting information. That’s why I created a reliable resource — a place where people can get clear, evidence-based guidance, steady support, and real motivation from professionals and peers who want to see them win.

Because when people are equipped with the right tools and a community that believes in them, they can finally follow through on the promises they’ve made to themselves — to lose weight, reclaim their health, and change their life for good.
